Manufacturing Standards for J-Type Forklift Mast Profiles

Forklift mast profiles are critical components used in the fabrication of both inner and outer masts for 5-10 ton capacity forklifts. The quality of their manufacturing directly impacts the service life of essential mast components such as rollers, pulleys, and lift cylinders, serving as a key indicator of overall forklift quality.

With the rapid advancement of the domestic forklift industry, the requirements for mast profiles have become increasingly stringent. Dimensional accuracy has improved significantly, from ±1mm to less than ±0.5mm. Material properties have been upgraded, moving from 20MnSi (yield strength: 335MPa) to Q460C (yield strength: ≥460MPa). Profile specifications have expanded from smaller sections like the C100 series to larger ones like the C300 series. Furthermore, cross-sectional complexity has evolved from simple C-shaped profiles to complex special sections. This progression has enabled the successful hot-rolled production of highly challenging mast channel steels, including J-shaped special grooves and asymmetric C & J-shaped grooves.
